2026 Gippsland League Fixture Released

Gippsland League has confirmed the release of its 2026 fixture, featuring 18 home and away matches. The season will commence on Saturday 11 April, with the Finals Series to begin on the final weekend of August and the Grand Final scheduled for Saturday 19 September.

The opening round will showcase several key matchups and traditional rivalries. Leongatha will unfurl the 2025 premiership flag at home against Moe, while Traralgon will host Bairnsdale under lights. The round will conclude with the traditional Western Derby between Warragul and Drouin in its established Sunday timeslot.

The League’s annual Mental Health Awareness Round will take place in Round 2, followed by the Indigenous Round in Round 12, proudly supported by Loy Yang B.

ANZAC Round will be held in Round 3, featuring two Saturday night matches with Wonthaggi hosting Drouin and Traralgon hosting Moe. Match details for ANZAC Day will be confirmed at a later date to ensure all ANZAC protocols are observed. All other matches will be played on Sunday 26 April.

The bye rounds will again align with the July school holidays, coinciding with the Dahlsens All Stars Grand Final. A split round will also be reintroduced in Rounds 5 and 6 to provide clubs with a mid-season break leading into June.

Due to ground resurfacing works at Ted Summerton Reserve, Moe’s home matches in the first half of the season will be relocated. Updated venues will be advised once confirmed.
