The Drouin Hawks allocation of matchday venues has been updated for the upcoming 2025 season, with games set to be played in Trafalgar, Morwell, and Moe. This temporary relocation comes as the Drouin Recreation Reserve undergoes significant redevelopment during the upcoming season.
With the Hawks home venue being unavailable, Gippsland League and Drouin have worked closely with local councils and assisting clubs to secure suitable alternative venues. The schedule attached contains the details of the home match allocations. Gippsland League and the Drouin Football and Netball Clubs would like to thank Baw Baw Shire, Latrobe City, Trafalgar Football Netball Club, Trafalgar Cricket Club, Traralgon Football Netball Club, Morwell Football Netball Club, and Moe Football Netball Club for their assistance in Drouin's venue allocation for season 2025.
The redevelopment of the Drouin Recreation Reserve is expected to deliver long-term benefits for the club and the broader community. The project is set to be completed during the 2025 season with a prospect of the Hawks being able to play the Round 18 Western Derby against Warragul at the newly completed venue. Updates for this fixture will be provided in the coming months.
