The Alinta Energy Gippsland League are seeking applications for a head coach for the 2023 Gippsland Interleague Carnival on Wednesday 28 June at the Morwell Recreation Reserve.
2023 Gippsland League U18 Interleague Coach
Volunteer, Gippsland Area
Duties
- Develop a Football and Coaching Strategy
- Coordinate and manage training for the 2023 selected squad
- Develop a coaching staff to assist with selection, training and match day coaching.
- Liaise with League Operations Manager regarding team and league requirements, and expectations.
- Be available for media and promotional opportunities relating to representative football.
- Have the ability to engage and encourage the league’s premier junior players to be involved.
Requirements
- Minimum of Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
- Hold a current Working with Children’s Check
- Background/experience in coaching Australian Rules Football
- Strong knowledge of local football in Gippsland
- Availability to commit to a weekly coaching session.
- Ability to recruit a team manager, runner and assistant coach
