The Gippsland League has announced Optus as a major sponsor and naming rights partner for Gippsland League TV for the 2023 season, a partnership that will further grow the league and give young, local athletes the opportunity to fulfil their ambition.
General Manager of Regional Victoria, Jayson Grool said Optus is proud to support the sporting community in Southern Victoria.
“This region has a really strong pool of sporting talent and we’re excited to partner with the Gippsland League to support both the football and netball teams as well as its umpires,” said Jayson.
Daniel Heathcote is the General Manager of the Gippsland League and said he’s thrilled Optus has committed to supporting the 2023 season.
“Their support provides the league with a huge boost and will provide a pathway for athletes to play at the highest level in the region as well as beyond,” he said.
Optus will support a number of areas within the Gippsland League including volunteers as well as the football and netball competitions which range from junior through to senior programs. Optus Gippsland League TV will stream matches online.
