The Gippsland League connects 10 proud communities across six LGAs through premiership football and netball. Each winter, thousands of locals pack our grounds, follow our live scores, and share our stories. We also own and operate key pathway programs for the Gippsland region.
GIPPSLAND STARS NETBALL
Gippsland Stars is an elite netball program that competes in the Victorian Netball League.
The Gippsland Stars joined the premier state level competition in 2024 in the newly created 23 & Under division before entering both the Championship and 23 & Under divisions in 2025.
Championship Team – Gippsland’s elite senior side competing in the Victorian Netball League.
23 & Under Team – Gippsland’s elite side for ages 23-16 competing in the Victorian Netball League.
19 & Under Team – official development team playing in the State Super Netball Series 19U Division 1
17 & Under Team – official development team playing in the State Super Netball Series 19U Division 2
The Dahlsens Gippsland All Stars is a representative program available to aspiring athletes registered with any club in the Gippsland region, focused on developing young talent in both football and netball across the region.
GIPPSLAND ALL STARS
Founded in 2021, the Gippsland All Stars program was established to offer junior football players in the Gippsland region a structured pathway for skill development and competitive play. In 2025, netball was introduced to the program, broadening its reach and giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their netball skills in a competitive, structured environment alongside football. This expansion enhances the program's ability to support a wider range of athletes.
Operating annually from March to July, the Gippsland All Stars program serves as a platform for the region's most talented athletes to enhance their skills and elevate their competitive standards. The program's carefully structured pathway aims to foster the growth of future leaders in both sport and community, ensuring that young players receive the training and guidance necessary to succeed at higher levels of competition.
