
Gippsland League Representative Netball Coach – Applications Open

Location: Gippsland Region (Volunteer Role)
The Gippsland League is seeking experienced and passionate coaches to lead our representative netball teams for the 2025 season. These roles provide an exciting opportunity to develop emerging talent and guide teams through the Association Championships and other tournaments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and manage a representative team in the Association Championships and other selected tournaments.
- Work alongside the Head Coach to coordinate and oversee the player selection process, subject to approval by the Gippsland League.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for the selected 2025 squad.
- Build a support team to assist with player selection, training, match-day coaching, and team management.
- Collaborate with the Netball Operations Coordinator to align with league objectives and expectations.
- Participate in media and promotional activities related to the representative program.
- Engage and encourage the league’s top players to participate.
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a minimum Netball Victoria Development Coaching Accreditation.
- Hold a current Working with Children’s Check.
- Demonstrated experience in netball coaching.
- Strong understanding of netball within the Gippsland region.
- Availability to attend training sessions and travel for match days.
- Ability to assess and identify talented players across the Gippsland League during the selection process.
