Drouin will return to their home ground at the Drouin Recreation Reserve following the completion of a major redevelopment.
Earlier in the 2025 season, the Hawks were temporarily relocated to alternative venues in Trafalgar, Morwell, and Moe while the Recreation Reserve underwent significant upgrades.
The redevelopment included resurfacing and improved drainage to bring the oval up to modern standards, ensuring it can handle the demands of Gippsland League football. The upgrade also enhances the Reserve as a community facility, benefiting local sporting and recreational groups.
The Hawks are set to host their first home match back at the Reserve in Round 18, the Western Derby against Warragul. The club thanked Baw Baw Shire, Latrobe City, Trafalgar, Traralgon, Morwell, and Moe football and netball clubs for their support in accommodating Drouin during the redevelopment.
Throughout the disruption, Drouin showed outstanding resilience and commitment, embracing the challenges of travelling and adjusting to temporary venues.
With the project now complete, the Hawks and their supporters can look forward, marking a new chapter for the club.
Gippsland League is thrilled to see Drouin back at the Recreation Reserve, with the upgraded facilities not only giving the Hawks a modern home but also positioning the club to potentially host finals in 2026 and beyond.
